The questions we get most often — about the law, the math, your money, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Legal & responsible play
- No. PICKORA is a marketplace for following independent sports handicappers. Picks are opinions, not financial or wagering advice. You are responsible for any wagers you place, and you must comply with the gambling laws of your jurisdiction. Must be 21+ where gambling is legal.
- Never. PICKORA does not accept wagers, hold balances for play, or partner with any sportsbook in a revenue-share for placed bets. We are a content subscription platform.
- Please step away from the product and reach out for help. In the US, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537), available 24/7. See our responsible-play page for international resources.

How verification works
- Every pick is cryptographically timestamped and written to an append-only ledger the moment a picker submits it — always before the game starts. After the game, results stream in from an independent settlement feed and grade the pick automatically. Pickers cannot edit, delete, or back-date a pick once it is live.
- We cross-check every settlement against at least two independent feeds. When they disagree, the pick is held in a 'pending' state and a human reviewer adjudicates within 24 hours. The audit log of every regrade is visible on the picker's profile.
- Push: the line landed exactly on the result (e.g. a -3.5 favourite wins by 3, on a line that became 3 at close). Void: the event was cancelled, the line was pulled before settlement, or a player listed in a prop pick did not appear. Voids and pushes are excluded from ROI and win rate, never silently dropped.

Subscriptions & billing
- Every paid tier offers a 7-day free trial on your first subscription to that picker. We collect a payment method up-front so the trial converts automatically, and we send a reminder 24 hours before the first charge. Cancel during the trial for zero cost.
- Yes. Cancel from your dashboard with one click. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are never charged again unless you resubscribe.
- If a picker grades zero picks in a billing period, that period is automatically refunded in full within 48 hours of the period ending — no support ticket required.

Disputes & support
- Open the pick on the picker's profile and click 'Flag for review'. Provide the official result source you are referencing. Our trust & safety team responds within one business day and either confirms the grading, regrades it (with the audit entry visible to everyone), or escalates to a third-party adjudicator.
- Use the 'Report picker' link on their profile. Conduct issues — abuse, harassment, false claims, soliciting wagers off-platform — are handled by trust & safety, not by the picker themselves. Confirmed violations result in suspension and pro-rated refunds to active subscribers.
- Email support@pickora.com from the address on your account. We aim to respond within one business day, faster for billing or trust & safety reports.
